In the morning, departure from Tamanraset to reach the Abalema site, during about 100 kilometres, we will follow the Trans-Saharan toward In Guezzan, border point with Nigeria. Complete day on board of the vehicles.
During our descent toward Abalema, we will be stunned by the diversity of the Saharan landscape; buttresses of Hoggar, immense plains filled with green wadis, dunes with regular and smooth shapes.
We will arrive at the end of the afternoon where we will settle our fist bivouac at about 75 kilometres from Abalema.

Onboard of our vehicles, we follow the Tagrera wadi before reaching Tagrera and its strange relief emerging from the dunes.
Strange shapes emerging from the light sand: gigantic mushrooms, fingers, turtles, dragons.
The beauty of this site has inspired many Tuareg poets and storytellers, long walk in the dunes and night at the bivouac.

Day 5
After breakfast, short morning excursion and departure for Tahaggart.
Our vehicles riding along a Ténéré of about 80 kilometres, the Tin Tarabine, before reaching Tahaggart at the top of a great dune, veritable fortress, filled with statues like Giacometti’s.

It is our last day of exploration of the tassilis.
Going back up toward the north, we will reach the Houf A Haket site. In front of us, a veritable petrified city emerging from the sand with its tortuous lanes, its places, its castle with frayed towers, its shelters under the rocks.
It is imperative to walk through this maze of fantastic shapes. Going through the gorges of Tin Tarabine, bordered with small dunes, following the Abbegui tassili, we will reach the El Ghessour Canyon.
It is by foot that we will explore the stone castles and the eroded rocky labyrinth, haloed with golden sands.

Day 7

A succession of passages more open, less broken, lead us to Tamanrasset where we will install the last bivouac in the region of Arregane, at 1 6000 metres of altitude.
