Day 2: Djanet – Essendilene , the Garden of the Sahara
Day 3 Day 3: Tikoubaouine Dive into a World Carved by Time
Plural of TAKOUBA which means “sword” Natural and cultural site representative of tassili –n-azzjer. Explore Tikoubaouine, a natural labyrinth of carved rocks and majestic arches formed by millennia. Made up of very old geological formations extending to the Precambrian, that is to say the very beginning of the formation of the earth. It is an intermediate region between the dune spaces and the famous plateau of MEDDAK.
We will follow the tarmac road between the bluish cliffs of TIMGHAS in the east and the high dunes of ERG IDMER in the west, then in a real maze of rocks in balance, we discover TIKOUBAOUINE . We will find arches naturally formed by erosion and extreme weather conditions. Discover its cave paintings hidden between the cliffs.
A wellness break awaits you with a foot massage to relax your legs after the walk. The evening ends with a thematic session of inner awakening around the fire. Overnight in bivouac.

After a delicious breakfast, head to the spectacular canyons of Oued Indjaren which welcome you with its cliffs carved by erosion, its rock frescoes telling stories of elephants, giraffes and men of another age. Walk along its majestic shores, where nature seems to whisper ancient secrets. Discovery of sites of paintings and rock carvings during the crossing of the canyon by its left bank, dine,after this immersion, find the comfort of the hotel La Tadrart for a restful night.

Day 6 Day 6: Algiers - Cultural Treasures
Discover the National Museum of Antiquities and Islamic Arts, The museum is the oldest in Africa and will give you a good insight into the past of Algeria to more modern history of the twentieth century. Discover the local Algerian cuisine at lunch in one of the many local restaurants in Algiers and in the afternoon, stroll through the Kasbah and end your day with a moving visit to Notre-Dame d'Afrique. After your day of sightseeing, dine in a local restaurant in Algiers. Overnight at Hotel El Djazair.

Day 7 Day 7: Algiers – Cherchell – Tipaza – On the Trail of the Empires
Outside of Algiers this time, visit the enigmatic "Tomb of the Christians" also called the Mausoleum of Maurétanie. The dome structure is said to be where the monarchs, King Juba II and Cleopatra Selene (daughter of Cleopatra of Egypt) from Numida are buried. The mausoleum is remarkably similar to that built for the emperor Augustus in Rome. After exploring the “Tomb of the Christians”, we will head to Cherchell to investigate the archaeological museum which contains some of the best finds from Roman and Greek times on the African continent. For today’s lunch, we head to the port of Tipaza for a meal of freshly caught seafood. In the afternoon, explore the ancient city of Tipasa which was originally a small Punic trading port before being transformed into a military colony by the Romans. We return to Algiers for some free time and relaxing tonight, dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight at Hotel El Djazaïr.
Day 8 Day 8: Algiers – Sétif (268 km) Sétif – Timgad (150 km) The Forgotten Jewels of the Roman Empire
You will say goodbye to Algiers this morning and we will go east to the city of Sétif, stopping on our way for lunch. The city of Sétif was founded under the Numidian kings around 100 BC and is now known as the commercial capital of Algeria. Visit the perfectly preserved ruins of Djemila, which was founded in the first century AD by the Romans. After exploring the ancient city, visit to the on-site museum which contains many objects found by archaeologists, departure to Timgad, installation Hotel Trajan, dinner and overnight at the Hotel Trajan.

Day 9 Day 9: Timgad – Constantine (118 km) - Roman Grandeur
Today, explore the site of Timgad, the "Pompeii of Africa", and its legendary mosaics, jewel of the Roman cities of Algeria, just 60 m from the hotel. Timgad was founded in the year 100 AD by the Roman emperor Trajan and was one of the most important Roman cities in North Africa. It was strategically located along a major trade route and served as a military base to defend the empire against Berber tribes. The city was laid out in a grid with spacious streets and public squares and housed many impressive buildings and monuments. The Arch of Trajan, which was built in honour of the emperor, was one of the most remarkable structures in the city and is still well preserved today. Timgad also had a rich and diverse population, made up of Roman citizens, Berbers and other ethnic groups from across the empire. Despite its military purpose, Timgad has become a centre of commerce, learning and the arts. The city was known for its mosaics, which depicted scenes of everyday life, mythology and nature. We will visit the nearby museum containing these mosaics, after the visit lunch at Trajan Hotel, departure to Constantine, dinner , overnight at Hotel Protea.
Day 10 Day 10: Constantine, the City of Bridges
Be dazzled by Constantine and its void-defying suspension bridges, a unique blend of historical, cultural and natural beauty that offers a window on Algeria’s rich past and vibrant present. Visit of the 3 bridges, ruins of the Roman aqueduct of Antoine, Casbah. Discover its Roman history, have lunch and visit its 19th century Ottoman palace by Ahmed Bey and contemporary through its emblematic sites and the Cirta museum. Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight at the Hotel Protea.
Day 11 Day 11: Constantine – Algiers
After breakfast, departure to Constantine via the highway, lunch in local restaurant en route , after arrival in Algiers , Transfer to Hotel El Djazair, free time , dinner in local restaurant and overnight at Hotel EL Djazair.
Day 12 Day 12: Algiers – Algiers International Airport ✈ / end of our services
After a gourmet breakfast, you are transferred to the airport of Algiers, your heart full of unforgettable memories. You are going to transform again, with the desire to come back and explore even more of the wonders of Algeria.
